Join us for a unique and exciting day of celebrating America's birthday! Where is Puckett Station? Downtown Moreland, Georgia! Puckett Station was Moreland's first name. Enjoy all the fun and festivities of a downtown celebration of America's freedom! Each year MCAA delves into a different period from America's history to explore. This year, step back in time with us to the 1940s and enjoy the sights and sounds of the era. Lots of music, exhibits, and activities for all ages in this unique celebration of independence of our town and our country! Save room for the yummy food including the 75th Annual Moreland BBQ!
SCHEDULE
The Puckett Station Festival will start at 9 a.m. with the patriotic bicycle parade for children, followed by the dog walk. Cash prizes for the bike parade will be given by the Moreland Cultural Arts Alliance, and Moreland Animal Hospital is donating prizes for the dog walk. Both of those events will start in front of Moreland United Methodist Church. Immediately following will be opening ceremonies including raising of the flag, pledge and singing of "The Star-Spangled Banner." Vendors will be setting up earlier in the day and ready to greet shoppers at 9.
