Moreland Garden Flag

A Letter From the Mayor:

The town of Moreland is looking to give the town a brand. Moreland has a rich history that most people know little about. Recently people have been moving to Moreland as a destination. People don’t look at Moreland as a transition but as a place to put down roots and stay. We have tried to think of something that says we are proud to live in the Moreland community. We came up with the idea of a bluebird to represent the town. Bluebirds are beautiful, smart and great family members. They are with us year around and are currently scouting nesting sites to raise their broods. They get along well with their neighbors but can be very protective of their nest and their territory.

We have had a flag designed with the beautiful bluebird on a branch with the Moreland logo underneath. We would like people to purchase these flags and display them in their front yard or front porch. This flag tells people you are proud to live in Moreland.

The cost of the garden flag and holder is $22.00. This is our cost for design and production of the flag. When you drive around our community and see these flags you will know people are proud to live here. Our people care about each other and strive to make this a great place to live.
